Exhibitions

A number of exhibitions will be on display during the VP60 event in August.  The displays will involve different levels of Townsville involvement in World War II.  Confirmation of displays will be documented closer to the event.

Sunferries - SKY SHOW ON THE WATER

Townsville’s skies will be filled with the flicker of bright lights when an F111 saws through the sky on Saturday 13th August. Sunferries will be cruising Cleveland Bay to offer the most prime position in all of Townsville.

The ‘Spirit of Magnetic Island’ will be setting sail at 7pm to reach a prime location before the start of the Sky Show. Dinner will include a variety of sumptuous foods including prawns, roast beef, baked leg ham and much more. You will also be indulging in a number of sweets from Chocolate Tiramisu to Profiteroles and Cheesecakes.

Radio coverage of the event will be aired throughout the entire vessel and children will be kept occupied with not only The VP60 Sky Show entertainment but will also be issued with a party pack to help commemorate this celebration.
